Possible alternate tactic for taking down Armek.
Armek can be a tough cookie when you only have Engineering and Science captains.
If you're doing the huddle around him and gangbang him tactic, you can't whack on him fast enough to prevent people from dieing from the Melee AoE.
And if you don't have a Science that can tank, you'd think that doing the corners wouldn't work either, but I say it can. Weapons malfunction has a 24 second cooldown, and the first 10 seconds of it completely disables ranged attacks. If you've got 3 or more Engineers, you can keep him in a constant state of being unable to fire. Combine this with mortars set outside of the shield, and a unfortunate team of Engineers doesn't have to be so unfortunate anymore.

In which case it comes down to timing, many teams just fire everything at once and keep firing as cooldowns reset. If people used more solid team work and timed their attacks better (like they do in TOR with Interrupts) then they'd have more success. Bravo atat.
